Robmeck Builders & Contractors (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated in December 1991, to which it affiliated its registration with the Ministry of Public Construction and National Housing and immediately embarked on intensive construction schemes involving Individuals, Cooperatives, Schools, Commercial buildings and any array of social buildings like theatres and church buildings, executive houses, high residential houses and low density houses.
The business environment was extremely hostile as the Economic Structural Adjustment Programme ( ESAP) had just began, building societies had frozen mortgage finance, banks were not supportive of emergent enterprises and the construction industry was enduring its worst depression which has even pushed into 21st century.
Aided by the Managing Director's full time commitment, Robmeck Builders has realized exponential growth and is currently managing to handle projects worth over 10 million dollars at a time. Because of this achievement the company has a vision to lead the indigenous construction fraternity and spread operations in Zimbabwe and throughout the Southern African region.
Robmeck Builders has successfully completed a number of projects to the entire satisfaction of the clients and commissioning authorities. Projects execution has been progressive in improving the extent that competence now matches that of any other established contractors. The completion of the latest Architectural models in the northern suburbs, Borrowdale Brooke, Folyjon Cres - Glenlorne and elite surroundings in Harare in the past has put us on the map and we are now spreading our wings to the rest of Zimbabwe.
The elimination of middleman and purchase of materials from manufacturers as well as efficient management enable Robmeck Builders to give competitive prices while maintaining reasonable margins. It is to the above that the company has also embarked on feasibility study diversion into cement brick molding and window & doorframes manufacturing to back up its construction ventures and reduce cost to the client whose resources has been dwindling due to economic hardships and spiralcost of living.
